Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can also remember information needed for a website to operate or preserve a user's choices.

2. Technologies currently used

FyndPlay currently uses only technologies required to provide, secure and maintain the beta service. These may be used to:

• keep an authenticated session active;
• protect login and account actions;
• preserve security and session state;
• remember essential interface or workspace choices; and
• maintain the reliability of the application.

3. Essential cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for features requested by the user, including authentication, account security and navigation between protected pages. The service may not function correctly if these technologies are blocked or deleted.

Because these technologies are required to provide the requested service, they are not used for advertising and are not controlled through an optional marketing-consent banner.

4. Analytics and advertising

The current beta does not use non-essential advertising cookies, behavioural advertising pixels or third-party analytics cookies.

We will not introduce optional analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking technologies without first updating this policy and, where legally required, requesting consent before those technologies are activated.

5. Service providers

Essential technologies may be supported by providers used to operate the platform, including Supabase for authentication and Vercel for application hosting and delivery.

Stripe test pages may use their own necessary technologies when a beta payment flow is opened. Real customer payments are currently disabled. Third-party services are responsible for their own privacy and cookie information.

6. Duration

Some essential information lasts only for the current browser session. Other information may remain for a limited period so that authentication and security functions continue to work. Duration is determined by the purpose of the technology and the settings of the relevant service provider.

7. Managing cookies

Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through their privacy settings. Blocking essential technologies may sign you out or prevent account features from working.

8. Personal information

When cookie or session information can be linked to an account or device, it may be personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains the purposes, legal bases and rights that apply.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may change when the platform or its service providers change. Material changes, particularly the introduction of non-essential tracking, will be communicated where appropriate.
